K301

() means time, moment, or period. It part of compound words such as ش (school term). A way to remember this kanji is to remember that the right radical means month or moon. So you can think that it is night since the moon is out on the right, and the left radical is a student sitting at a desk, studying behind three books. At the moment the student is stretching and you can see the student's hands above the books.
