Con­fu­cius Insti­tute at Pur­due Uni­ver­sity and Chi­nese Lan­guage Pro­gram of SLC are proud to spon­sor the sixth Chi­nese Speech and Per­for­mance Con­test at Pur­due Uni­ver­sity in Spring 2013. Stu­dents from all Chi­nese lan­guage classes are encour­aged to par­tic­i­pate in the con­test. The con­test intends to pro­mote the learn­ing of Chi­nese lan­guage and cul­ture at Pur­due University

2012 US Direc­tors Media Train­ing Workshop

Pur­due CI is pleased to host the 2012 US Direc­tors Media Train­ing Work­shop (Announce­ment) on Novem­ber 9 and 10 at Pur­due Uni­ver­sity, West Lafayette, IN. Co-​sponsored by the Brian Lamb School of Com­mu­ni­ca­tion at Pur­due, we will dis­cuss effec­tive ways work­ing with the media and how tra­di­tional and new social media cov­ers China and in par­tic­u­lar, the Con­fu­cius Insti­tute, and the par­tic­i­pants will be given oppor­tu­ni­ties to be inter­viewed under spot­light by Pur­due News Ser­vices.
