As an annual Chinese cultural event, 'China Night' has been launched in Lafayette for 6 years. It provides local residents opportunities to have a taste of Chinese culture.  Dr. John Layton, Assistant Superintendent of Lafayette School Corporation, introduced the audience of the development of Chinese Program in LSC, and Dr. Wei Hong, welcomed all the participants on behalf of Confucius Institute.  Tables were arranged in the gym, where one could enjoy Chinese calligraphy, paper-cutting, knot-making, Chinese origami, lantern riddles, and so on.  Every year, 'Talent Show' remains the most exciting part of the event, and this year there was no exception. The 30-minute show presented songs by LSC Chinese Program students from Edgelea Elementary School, Sunnyside Middle School and Jefferson High School.
