Find Japan on campus (キャンパスで日本を見つけよう)
This is a game to have students find "Japan" on campus. "Japan" is defined broadly. The objective of the game is to raise students' motivations by making them aware of "Japan" in their immediate environment. The environment can be expanded to town, city or state. Students can also learn about "Japan" in other campuses since they can get in other games. The game provides language practice in writing and speaking as their notes in ARIS can be in language.
Find Japan on campusは学習者主導型のゲームの例です。学生が主体となってキャンパス内の日本と関係のある物や場所を見つけ、それを紹介する活動です。キャンパス内の今まで気付かなかったようなところにも日本と関連のあるものが存在することを認識し、意識化することで、日本語や日本そのものをもっと身近に感じさせることができます。学生はそれぞれ見つけた情報をスマホのアプリから日本語のテキスト、音声、写真といった違った形で投稿します。投稿された情報は教師やクラスメートだけでなくアプリを使用する人であれば誰とでも共有することができますから、新入生対象のオリエンテーションや高校生が大学訪問などを行う際にキャンパスを紹介するツールとして利用することも可能です。他大学のゲームを閲覧することできるので、複数の大学キャンパスが情報を共有することでさらなるコラボレーションへと発展させることもできます。
If a player finds a new "Japan", he/she can add a photo, voice recording, and/or text description to Notebook. Notes show up as blue icons on Map.
プレーヤーが「日本」を見つけたら、テキスト、写真、音声のnoteを投稿します。投稿されたnoteはARISの地図上に青いアイコンとして現れます。
When an instructor recognizes the content of a note to be worthy, he/she can convert the note to a permanent plaque.
教員は、noteをplaqueに変換することで、投稿されたnoteの内容をキャンパスの日本として登録することができます。
Search with "Find Japan" in ARIS app to try a game. You can play any "Find Japan on campus."
ARISアプリを開けて、"Find Japan"で検索して、ゲームを試してみて下さい。どのゲームにも入れます。
